How can increasingly complex, technicalSystems be developed in Germany? 

The newly published acatech IMPULS "Rethinking and Shaping Engineering - Challenges, Application Scenarios and the New Guiding Principle Advanced Systems Engineering" explains this. 

The publication illustrates what Advanced Systems Engineering is and where the challenges in engineering lie in this context. Application scenarios illustrate the technical and societal questions that can be answered by ASE. Options for action show how, for example, companies can strengthen their strategic competence, what political measures are necessary and what science must achieve in order to realize ASE in Germany. Because ASE sets the course for sustainable value creation, employment, welfare and prosperity in Germany.
