The digitisation of work or Industry 4.0 is not only the subject of research, but new digital methods for researching change are also being tested and developed.The future consequences of digitisation on work, employment and qualifications will be decided to a large extent today and in the near future at the level of concrete technology and work design. This in turn can only succeed in an interdisciplinary way. The scientific work at the chair is therefore interdisciplinary open and characterized by the guiding idea of the increasing importance of a transdisciplinary dialogue with different social actors.
