The Advanced Systems working group is concerned with future market services as one of the three subsets of advanced systems engineering. These can be tangible or services and a combination of the two.

Content of the working group are topics such as Digital Twin, platforms, assistance systems and the management shell / Industry 4.0 as well as aspects such as System of Systems (SoS) and human-machine interaction. 

The primary goal of the working group is the development of a common conceptual understanding of Advanced Systems as well as their description possibilities. For this purpose, an interdisciplinary view on the characterizing properties of AS shall be taken. Demonstrators and MVPs are to provide experiential knowledge for practice partners. The results should possibly be recorded in a joint white paper. Marginal topics are networking, transfer of work results as well as joint marketing activities. 

The Advanced Systems and Development Methods working groups will work in close coordination to quickly identify interfaces, processes, workflows in Advanced Systems and their development.
