The content of Working Group 5 is the new challenges associated with the development of sustainable Advanced Systems. The already high degree of complexity within product development will increase further due to the consideration of sustainability indicators. The focus is on sustainability strategies, relevant laws, regulations and certifications and the identification of design levers based on a use case. 

The goal of the working group is to make the challenges of developing sustainable Advanced Systems tangible. The results should help to sensitize the developers of Advanced Systems regarding sustainability and potential design levers. They can also contribute to highlighting the importance of Advanced Systems Engineering for more sustainability.
